GDPR
The European law that protects your personal data and governs what organisations are allowed to do with it.
The GDPR is the European regulation on personal data (name, email, location and so on). It requires organisations to be transparent, to collect only what is necessary and to secure this information. It also gives you rights: to access your data, to correct it or to have it deleted. In France, the CNIL oversees compliance.
