Botnet
A network of hacked machines, controlled remotely to carry out mass attacks.
A botnet is a set of infected devices (computers, servers, connected objects) controlled without their owners' knowledge. These "zombie" machines are used as a group to saturate sites, send spam or spread viruses. Poorly secured connected objects are a favourite target.
