Deepfake
A fake video or voice, created by artificial intelligence, imitating a real person very realistically.
A deepfake is audio or video content faked by AI to make someone say or do what they never said or did. In cybersecurity, it is used for scams: for example imitating a director's voice or face on a video call to order a transfer. To counter this, sensitive requests must be verified through another reliable channel.
