Passkey
A modern alternative to the password: you log in by unlocking your device, with nothing to remember or type.
A passkey replaces the password with a proof stored on your device, which you unlock by fingerprint, face or code. There is no longer a password to remember or enter, so nothing to steal on a fake site: passkeys resist phishing very well. It is the direction taken by most major services.
